I hit it with the first line I tried, which was from Strawberries: It's cold, but not snowing.
The snotty thing said "That didn't even make much sense in English." But it totally does make sense...it's just perfect...and even Japanese translation cannot mock it. Equilibrium reached. So there! :smirk:
However, this led me to press on to my next oldest fic...which opens with a rephrasing of the famous..."If I believe in one thing, just one, I believe in...her."
