Supernatural Fic Rec

As most of you are now aware, I am watching Supernatural S1-S3 on DVD and sort of getting caught up on the show. My sister has S4 on tape so I should be all ready for S5 to start. In a recent post I went on about how I didn't really get the Wincestuous subtext that seemed to crop up in the show as of S2 and just...continue. Not, that I felt the actors were playing to the idea of being into one another...but that there are definite written references to the concept. And, it struck me as quite weird for the writers to go there.

Oddly, it did not strike me as unsavory, just as not my thing. Slash for the most part leaves me cold and Sam/Dean is no exception to that rule. Even where I find the ship believable...such as with House/Wilson...or Jack/Ianto or Fledgling!Spike/Angelus...I don't really get much of a charge out of slash pairings.
