I am a library manager by day...as some of you know...but I was still overcome with glee at my results on this Lit Slits test. For those of you who don't know, Lit Slits is a way to make sure you have read a book. Instead of asking questions about the book, you are presented with a vertical strip of text. You must identify the book by the font, style, snippets of dialog and a few key names legible in the strip of text. You pick the book title and author from a multiple choice list.
I had 9 out of 10 correct. And frankly, I had the 10th one, too, but I thought "It can't be that!" Because the answer seemed too easy. I'd never read the book in question, so I thought my mind was playing tricks on me and just picked a different title at random. Should have gone with my instincts.
Here's a link...try your luck...Oh...and there is no NEXT button on the quiz. Once you answer, it automatically refreshes, just wait for it.
