A little something to pacify your day
Sep. 25th, 2003 05:05 pmFirst, allow me to extend my deepest thanks to all of the people who offered me sympathy for the loss of my brother. Thank you for your concern and care. You touched my heart.
Secondly, as some of you already know (and really, don't you wonder who these people are that know things? ;-D ), I practice Shamanism as my religion. There are in my practice many overlapping areas with other religions...in fact...I would go so far as to say with MOST religions.
And so, I frequently find nuggets to share from one belief system or another with family and friends.
Most of you know, I hope, that I count you all in that group. And so, I am sharing.
I recently stumbled across a wonderfully relaxing site for the mind and spirit. It is in harmony with my own beliefs but may not, of course, be in harmony with yours (which is, of course, fine by me). This is not so much a soapbox preaching kind of site as an offering of good will for those people who are frazzled (Which as most you know I have been lately...okay, okay...I will stop :-] ). All they sell on this site is a CD for meditation on their prime topic, which is Pure Silence. There are no harsh commentaries about life...no pamphlets...no promises...just peace...
Check it out if you like at...

And now back to your regularly scheduled lives! ;-D
