Well, Rose did it to get back to him... because the Doctor was the only one who could stop a multiverse cataclysm.
No...actually...she says she was building the dimension cannon BEFORE the cataclysm. And this plays into something that WE the audience and the Doctor should consider...Rose always comes back...she doesn't EVER sit still like he told her to do. And buying her off with almost HIM...isn't going to stop her now. "They keep trying to split us up...but they never, ever will."
Okay...well...maybe HE can just say no. But he doesn't say NO...he says..."Look out after this guy." To me, looking out after 10.2...whipping him into shape...is very godlike thing for Rose to do. But it is not a very loving thing to do.
Rae thinking uneasy is a far better term than loveless...or even concerned...10.2 and Rose have an uneasy alliance...I don't know that it is heading toward love and babies. I would say it is heading toward a "better dimension cannon."
