New BSG tonight---YAY!

So...I decided to go with an oldie but a goodie in icons. Hope you enjoy it. Fingers crossed, I will have lovely things to rave about later.

Also, I think The Sarah Jane Adventures start tonight. Sarah is very spunky and I feel closer to what Rose is like on her own. I don't really hold with the pointless sex and violence of Captain Jack's Torchwood...though I do think they did better this year than last.

Of course, I do hold with the pointless sex and violence of Battlestar Galactica...so, maybe it is gravitas that Torchwood is lacking.

I've heard some *very* positive reviews of tonight's episode! Only a few more hours to go! It's almost too much having my two favorite shows on at the same time - not good for my blood pressure.

I know...I have argued my way to the DVR tonight...but it was a challenge as my SO only records one thing a week...and it is on Friday nights. SHEESH!

Glad to hear postive reviews. Kara certainly looked intense in the ad.

This is definitely one to record. Apparently, it's an episode that needs to be watched more than once. We have a DVR that can record two shows at once, thankfully! My SO talked me into upgrading last year. Not that it would be an issue with BSG since we both watch it.

The Sarah Jane Adventure do start tonight and I haven't been obtaining them so I'm hoping they'll be fun. :)

I have some major issues with Torchwood (mostly their writers) but in general I've found S2 to be an improvement over S1.

That's because the characters on BSG does pointless sex and violence so well. Also, it usually leads to a developed storyline or can set the attitude for a character for the rest of the season. Can't really say the same about Torchwood. Sex on Torchwood is shallow fun. (I only really get a kick out of it when Ianto's involved.)
