PERISH THE THOUGHT!

No way do I (or have I) even come close to wanting to THINK about stopping reading "Disheveled". In fact, I still intend on printing the whole darn thing eventually and sneaking it into work and binding it. My only trouble is I can't decide whether to use the picture of Rose giving the Doctor her key as the cover, or the actual cover as the cover. I want to be able to curl up on the couch or in bed and read it in its entirety, with my dog by my side and a nice cup of tea on the stand. *happysigh*

Oh...take a picture of that when it happens...I would love to see it. Someone said I should celebrate the end with champagne and I hadn't even considered celebrating. I don't know what I'm going to do without this fic to inspire me. I'm hoping RTD has something interesting up his sleeve to keep me happily writing Rose/Doctor stories in my spare time.

And I'm glad I waved at you...since you did miss the update...Chapter 25 went up in two parts because LJ was being tetchy...and then lots of people found they were unable to comment on Part 2. When/if you comment, just back up to Part 1...it is the most reliable way.

The sexiest moment was at 2:30, when Nine hugs Rose in a (cut?) scene from Dalek. She's barely dressed and he's barely restrained: pullng them completely together with his head tucked in at her neck. *shiver*

Also, I completely understand what you're saying about feeling a bit at loose ends at the end of an epic story like this. It consumes you in a very good way...and to lose that anchor, well...though the work of writing it is over, the enjoyment of writing it is, as well.

I, for one, (and selfishly) wish it could go on for about a hundred and twenty five more chapters.

So how about it? *g*

That was fantastic!

Must tell everyone. Even though it appears they already know about it. You know I'm a huge fan of the Doctor from way back and this vid hits the spot for Old Who/New Who fans who feel that the relationship with Rose is simply part of the tapestry of who the Doctor is. Loving her doesn't detract from him at all...on the contrary...it makes him more fun.

Absolutely missing the entire lot of them. I am hip deep in working on my next Doctor/Rose story and having a grand time bringing Rose back in a totally different way from Disheveled. Basically, I think this one is going to be uber-fluffy...it might not be, depends on where I start it. I have two different ideas and I'm trying to merge them...rather than do what will amount to three different smaller fics...not sure how it will work just yet...but I'm leaning toward fluffy in the extreme.

I just thought...why not go out ahead of my idea of the Doctor going to Rose and see what sort of story I could tell about them...and it is a bit rollicking so far.

Rather like that Ordinary Day vid, actually. :grin:

In my deleted scenes file...though I wish I had a better version of it...I don't have the S1 DVD's...I asked for them for Christmas but Santa thought I'd been naughty I guess...or maybe that I WOULD be naughty if he gave me those. :grin:

I see you sent me a message about OMG which is a fantastic vid for getting in the smutty mood for PWP and TEN...but did you see the one for NINE...it's in my favorites, too. Damn, I wish I was your lover? I really think it is even hotter than David's OMG! I tend to be more of a Ten girl myself...but that's mostly because I just think the relationship with Rose grew until it blossomed with Ten. Okay, I find David very sexy as well...and maybe Ten is my favorite Doctor because he adds so much to the role. But I thought Chris did the world's best old to new school transition...Nine was very much still a Time Lord of old.

So...I suppose...to sum up...they are both sexy...both equally marvelous...both loved Rose dearly...and I just write a better Ten. :grin: And, to be honest, I think Ten had a much better shot at getting lucky...Nine struck me as stifled and longing. Ten comes across as a man who if he isn't getting laid...certainly has the immediate expectation of it.
