And is in fact, trickling back. My hope is to give you Chapter 23 and 24 for Christmas. Then, give everyone time to spaz over Voyage of the Damned...and the S4 trailer...then finish up with my Chapter 25 to make your long wait more bearable.

This is assuming, I can churn out Chapter 24 by tomorrow night.

There is no way to be sure at this point...as you will learn, I think, when you read 24.

Also, much of Chapter 24 and for that matter 25 is already done...as I write the ending well in advance of the rest. It's just a matter of fluffing out the sketch at this point.

I'm still completely reserving judgment until I see the episodes. I can't help but read the spoilers, but I don't think about them too much. I'll see for myself soon enough.

Like the plague...sort of covering my nose and mouth and eyes and chanting...lalalala...

But someone drew a nasty parallel for me a couple of months back and I went into full on panic mode. And the more I see my Flist going spastic...the more I worry. Probably it's all for naught...because the odds against RTD really messing up my story have got to be rather long...but still...

I worked on this thing for a very long time.

Can't wait to read this, although I'll probably have to wait until after the holidays, since I'll be in internet-less family land soon. Yours is one of the few WIPs that I've read in "real-time" the first chapter really hooked me and I'm always checking for updates. Most of that type of fic, I copy and paste the parts in a file to read when complete. I'm almost sad to see it coming to an end. Once this fic is complete, do you think you might upload it to Teaspoon? I love the feature there where you can have all the chapters show up on one page - it's great if you want to print stories, esp long ones for car rides etc. Please consider it. Thanks for writing such a wonderfull story.

Ha! The advantage of not celebrating Christmas - I *will* be able to read the next chapters during the holidays! ;-)

And may I second the request about uploading to Teaspoon - for the same reason actually, the feature that lets you get the whole story on one page. Makes it easier to transfer it onto my PDA for away-from-internet reading. ;-) Your story passed the time wonderfully while my students were taking finals last week!!
