It would be really cool if it was, because I live in the tropics, but...no!

I go for the original Miracle of 34th Street. Young Natalie Wood and an amazing Kris Kringle.

Easily my favorite class ever was Animal Behavior with the hilarious Dr. Wilson. That was followed closely by Anatomy & Physiology of Farm Animals, with Dr. James Chapman, a class with only 12 people and lots of hands on study of anatomy and physiology. Dr. Chapman was the toughest teacher I ever had, but he really expected us to learn something in his classes.

I was getting ready for work. It was a Tuesday. I went in at 11:00 am EST on Tuesdays, so I was puttering around getting dressed. My other half called from work to ask if I was watching the news. I never turn the TV on in the morning so I said, "No!" He was at his office and had no TV there, but he wanted an update on what was happening. He told me about the planes flying into the buildings and I flipped on the TV just in time to see the first tower fall.

I said, "Oh, God! It fell?" And he said, "No! It's just on fire!" And I said, "No! No! Honey, it just fell down! It's just...gone!"

There was a beat of a second or two, and then, in a very flat tone of voice he said, "My sister is there."

Funny, I'd really had no idea what building she worked in until that day, though I knew that she worked in the financial district. We later learned she was one of the lucky ones who made it out early. The first plane hit just as she arrived at the subway stop. She was already waiting for a ferry home when the tower collapsed. But, given the chaos, we didn't hear anything from her until 2:30 that afternoon. I am tearing up remembering those horrible those hours waiting. It left a mark on me to see that and to realize what it could have meant for us and did mean for a lot of other families.

Sure! I think it is almost always better to know what is coming for you.

I think though that if it is paradise it is probably best we don't know that, because it helps us to deal with our issues in this life. If it is nothingness, it would be better to know as far as making our lives more fulfilled and meaningful.

So much to do so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets

I really like most of the lyrics in this song. I don't know if it is my favorite line of all time, because I don't really have too many "all-time favorites" in any category of thing. But I do like the general ideas put forward in All-Star.

And I love the Farscape Vid that was all about Crichton to this song...by Diar

I would take my romantic partner and we would probably go to the UK, because we both want to explore and see it and I have a couple of people I could visit there, too.

Fat Pony and the Aliens

Because my nephew and I talked this all out a long, long time ago. When he was about 15 and I was 20, we took a road trip and decided what to name the album, wrote a few songs and designed the album cover. It featured a field dotted with glowing-eyed cows, a fat pony and in the distance a silo taking off like a rocket ship for space.

Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie"

I don't know what it is about that song, but I love it.

I also adore Michael Franti & Spearhead's "Say Hey (I Love You)"

I am afraid that my imaginary friend would insist that I kill it. We would make a pet of any spare rats you might have, though. But spiders and cockroaches and lice are all doomed.
